Here we go again (I hope you can sense my disgust)

I know I’m not the only one who does this, well at least I hope. I can honestly say I love working out. I love lifting, running, sweating and the burn. However it always takes me a few tries before I really get in the swing of things. I also have never had to schedule workouts around 3 other people. I’m coming up on freedom in another 2 months (the end of breast feeding is near:)). Of course we can’t forget about BEACH SEASON…Bahahahahaha. Most importantly I’m so extremely uncomfortable and unhappy with the way I look and it’s really starting to have a big impact on me.
I came back to exercise way too fast after J1 and my stomach muscles still bother me if I do too much ab or core work. I mean I did have two kids in two years and I am by no means fat. I’m on my last leg of weight loss and I would love to get really fit again. Earlier in this blog I was all about the exercise. I actually did really well until someone or sick or my husband had a work trip. Something always throws off my schedule. So I think it’s time…time to get up before the kids…gulp.
I am NOT a morning person and coffee has become a permanent staple in my morning routine and I actually enjoy it. I’m going to have to enjoy it a lot more if I am actually going to get up at the ass crack of morning to get moving. At least I have a new workout partner. Bubba!

My dog has gotten FAAAATTTTT! We got him fixed in August and J1 has also figured out that he can feed Bubba the food he doesn’t want since then as well. This dog is a fatty and he needs to get his sexy back so he doesn’t look like a sausage with legs. So big game plan is to get up early and walk the dog and I’m hoping I will just start working out after the walk since I’m up already. This all may be wishful thinking but we will find out Monday.
On a heavier note I am looking forward to Chinese food tomorrow! It’s our Easter tradition 🙂
My sexy husband is making a big breakfast the Chinese for dinner. Glow in the dark Easter egg hunt for the boys and then…(drumroll) The Walking Dead!
Every one is going to die I’m so stressed out!

Date night

I am listening to J1 running around in his room during what should be nap time. Honestly he’s probably painting a beautiful picture for me with his poop…poop painting is something only a little man’s mother can appreciate. J1 and I have had a TON of battles lately. He’s 2 and boy does he know how to push my buttons. He has pin pointed exactly what he needs to do to really piss me off now. So much so that he looks at me while he does whatever act he decides to do at that particular moment. I really make a conscious effort to tell him I love him every time I get really mad, more for me than him. I know that at this age it can really be a battle of patience to come out sane and without a head of hair that is completely gray.
He won’t nap, he won’t eat, he won’t share (not that I expect that). The worst is the screaming. We call him the velociraptor because it is ear piercing and so loud!
J2 is on the move! Crawling, standing and starting to cruise around. As soon as he figures out he can walk we are in big trouble. I’m pretty sure stitches will be soon to follow as well, he is crazy!
My husband and I have our first date without the boys since November tonight. So excited and so nervous for our sitter. She has no idea what she’s in for, HA! This is the first time I’ve really let anyone watch both boys so I will be a little nervous (I know you other moms get it) but I totally need a break. I will enjoy every minute with my very handsome husband 🙂
Hopefully I will remember to take pictures on Easter but if I do not I hope everyone enjoys their holiday!

Ma the Meatloaf!!

We LOVE meatloaf over here. I decided to try meatloaf in muffin tins because the time it takes to cook a meatloaf is way too long in my opinion.
Well needless to say meatloaf muffins are an enormous success! Make your meatloaf as usual put them in a muffin tin and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Boom! Meat muffins 🙂

I am constantly on the hunt for quick workouts that get the job done. I love P90X but I can not always fit an hour workout into my day. I do my have my nights free anymore because of Anchors & Arrows so I have to fit a good workout into about 20 minutes. I just found a blog Melissa Bender’s Fitness and tried a few workouts…fantastic! I tried the 15 Minute HIIT Workout and holy moly it was tough. Keep in mind I’m a little out of shape but most of her workouts are body weight so no equipment and you can add weights I you have them. I have also been wandering Pinterest for workout ideas and came across a beautiful squat/burpee pyramid. I only got halfway through 🙂 but next time I WILL finish the whole thing. Here is the Burpee Workout from Hell. Burpees suck but they work. 🙂

Feast or famine

My small little business has gotten quite a few orders and evolved as well. Of course I owe it all to my friends for spreading the word. So at any given time my shop will have zero orders or five. Most of the items I offer are custom orders so five at a time can be a little overwhelming, especially with J1 and J2, keeping the house clean (clean being used very loosely) and making dinner every night. The only time I have to work is after bedtime. Thankfully the last group of orders is mostly people I know so I don’t need to rush. Anyways…here are a few things I have been working on!

Stop by and check out the shop!Anchors & Arrows
And here’s one of J2 for the road. So handsome right? 😉

I am by far the worst packer ever! My husband and I learned this with our last move. I am on a mission to redeem myself this time. I have printed handy little labels that I found on The Project Girl Blog. I have started with clothes in our room because well, I think I can do without all 40 of my hoodies for a few months. It’s my vice and my husband always gets a new one for me every time he goes on a work trip. I hate flowers but buy me a hoodie and you have the key to my heart :). So now I’m on a mission to find boxes. I really want good big packing boxes not a million little ones.
My favorite part will be getting rid of EVERYTHING we don’t NEED. I am ready for a serious purge. I’m starting to feel like a packrat. If anyone has any really great tips please share! I am awful at this kind of thing but the responsibility has fallen on my shoulders because my sugar daddy (aka husband) allows me to be a stay at home mom.
I think what I have most trouble with is grouping things for packing. My mind just does not understand that t shirts and blenders should not go in the same box.
